Dog walking is dangerous!

I have spent the past few weeks laid up after doing ligament damage to my ankle whilst out walking Tooheys. Whoever said walking was safe exercise obviously never met my dog! So while my foot turned all sorts of pretty colours it has meant we've been fairly cooped up - limited exercise, no running, and definately no agility! Bummer. Hopefully things have healed enough for us to do a training day Id booked later this week.

We had a lovely day yesterday spent at working trial training. For the non-Brits out there, Working Trials are a bit like aussie obedience on a much much larger sale, with heelwork, send aways, tracking, jumps and the likes. I had been messing around with tracking for a little while, and basically at the moment we're hopeless, but it was lovely to be able to see what we're aiming for and spend the day with like minded company. The big upside of the day for us - Tooheys has suddenly decided he can do something resembling a dumbell retrieve after months of not being able to hold it for longer than 3 seconds.
